About Me

I've been a software engineer for almost 15 years and have spent the last 8 years focused on cloud development—specifically on AWS. I live in the Ozark hills of Southern Missouri with my wife, Kacey, and two boys, Asa and Archer.

In 2014 I co-founded StatMuse with a lifelong friend and served as CTO until 2019. Since that time I've been focused on helping other startups leverage serverless technology on AWS.

I'm also the founder of Public where I'm creating tools for developers to manage their public footprint online. I spent the first half of my career working in the shadows—a dark matter developer—always self-conscious about my lack of an online presence. I want to make it easier for all of us to contribute to the community and be proud of our online presence.
